Neuhaus, Edna (Marriage - 18 Oct. 1941)
Holy Name Catholic church at Sheboygan, Wis., was decorated with bouquets of daisies for the wedding on Saturday morning, Oct. 18th, at 9 o’clock of Miss Edna Neuhaus and Erwin Schwoerer. The Rt. Rev. Msgd. Phillip Dries read the nuptial high mass which united in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Neuhaus of Colby, Wis., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schwoerer of 1430 N. Tenth street, Milwaukee.
A celanese ivory satin frock was worn by the bride. It was fashioned with a long train. Her French illusion veil and blusher were caught to a tiara and in her arms she held a shower bouquet of pink roses and pompoms.
The bride’s attendants were Miss Agnes Bogenschuetz as matron-of-honor and Mrs. Herbert Schwoerer and Miss Sylvia Schwoerer as the bridesmaids.
Herbert Schwoerer was the best man and Harold Neuhaus was the groomsman. The ushers were Alfred Schwoerer and Elmer Neuhaus.
Dinner and supper were served to 40 guests at the Tourist Inn, where white daisies were used for decorations.
After Nov. 1, the couple will be at home at 1537 N. Tenth street, Milwaukee. The bridegroom is employed at the Garten Toy company.
